Hatfield Jewish community is located between Borehamwood and Stevenage and is a charming town located in Hertfordshire, England, with a rich history and a blend of modern amenities. Situated approximately 20 miles north of central London, Hatfield is known for its picturesque landscapes, historic landmarks, and vibrant community. The town has evolved from its agricultural roots into a dynamic hub, home to both residential neighbourhoods and thriving commercial areas.

Welwyn Garden City Hebrew Congregation and Hatfield Jewish Community appoint Rabbi and Rebbetzen Herszaft as new Rabbinic Couple

October 2025 - A word from Justin

Since the arrival of the rabbinical couple, our local Jewish community has truly flourished. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine passion for helping others have created an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome—no matter their background or level of knowledge. The regular community events they organize are always uplifting, inclusive, and full of meaning.

It’s been incredible to see the steady growth of our community, including the introduction of weekly cheder classes, which have brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the next generation. This community is a shining example of what it means to come together in friendship, faith, and support. I feel so grateful to be part of it!
